Lakeside Point - Douglas Lake - Smoky Mountains

WOW! Be prepared to take a lot of pictures when you vacation at Lakeside Point! With 6 different decks, you’ll have plenty of places to sit and admire the breathtaking mountain and lake views.

OUTSIDE:
Lakeside Point is at the end of a quite Cul-de-Sac, and sits on a deepwater point on the Sevierville side of Douglas Lake. Take full advantage of the outdoors with 2 Full Length decks with breathtaking views of the lake and Mt. LeConte, the crown jewel of the Great Smokey Mountains. The top deck is off the kitchen and den and features a gas grill and table and chairs for outside dinning. The bottom deck is off the Game room and features a Hot Tub and access to the back yard. There are also 2 balconies adjoining the two King bedrooms…an excellent place to enjoy morning coffee or watch the sunset over the lake.

The property also features two brand new lake side decks large enough for a water side picnic or just a place to sit and relax in one of the Adirondack chairs. These decks have been built to allow a mix of sun and shade and awesome views of the sun setting over the lake. There is a new 16 x 24 dock with swim ladder which provides ample room to leave by boat in deep water, or enjoy swimming or fishing on the secluded cove.

INSIDE:
Eventually you will want to come inside and enjoy our home which has been tastefully redecorated and furnished in June of 2008. With 3 different levels, our house offers fun and privacy for the whole family.
Upstairs, there are 2 new King bedrooms, (each with its own TV and private balcony) and 1 full Bath.

The main level contains 1 queen bedroom, and a full Bath. There is a full eat-in kitchen, with Dishwasher, Microwave, and a new table that seats 8+. The Family Room features a sofa, loveseat and an oversized scenic window overlooking the lake. This room also has a HD TV and a DVD player which is visible from the kitchen.

Downstairs, you’ll find a full sized game room with a sleeper sofa, loveseat, pool table and ESPN Air Hockey table. Enjoy watching a wall mounted flat screen TV which provides easy viewing during any game room activity. There is a full sized Washer & Dryer in a separate laundry room. Walk out of the game room to the Hot Tub on the lower deck which also features breathtaking mountain and lake views.

This home is one of the closest to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, and is just a few miles to the (easier) Middle creek road entrance to Dollywood and Splash Country. As our guest, you can launch your boat for free (or rent boats) from the Gator Point Marina located just 5 minutes away by road. If you have a large party or family reunion, you may also want to rent Simpler Times, which is next door, Ivey’s Cove, which is just down the street or the 4 cabins, Iris Sweet Wm, Trillium and Clover, which are located at Gator Point Marina nearby.
